Medicare Guide
Great question. Medicare has four parts. Here's a simple breakdown:
Attachment · The Four Parts
A
Part A — Hospital Insurance

Covers inpatient hospital stays, skilled nursing and hospice care.

  • Inpatient hospital care
  • Skilled nursing facility care
  • Hospice & respite care
  • Some home health services
B
Part B — Medical Insurance

Covers doctor visits, outpatient care, preventive services and equipment.

  • Doctor & specialist visits
  • Outpatient procedures & labs
  • Preventive screenings & vaccines
  • Durable medical equipment
C
Part C — Medicare Advantage

An all-in-one alternative offered by private carriers, often with extras.

  • Everything in Parts A & B
  • Usually prescription drug coverage
  • Often dental, vision & hearing
  • Annual out-of-pocket maximum
D
Part D — Prescription Drugs

Helps cover the cost of prescription medications at the pharmacy.

  • Brand-name & generic drugs
  • Plan-specific formulary tiers
  • Pharmacy network pricing
  • Annual out-of-pocket cap on drugs
Most people start with A and B, then add C or D depending on their needs.

Nothing. 🎉 Our service is completely free to you.
Why it's free

We're an independent agency. Carriers pay us when someone enrolls, so you get licensed guidance at zero cost — and we stay free to recommend whatever actually fits you.

  • Completely free — you never pay a fee
  • Licensed advisors in all 50 states
  • Independent comparisons, not one-carrier sales
  • 30+ carriers reviewed side by side
  • Year-round support, not just at enrollment
We're paid by the carriers — never by you. That means no pressure, ever.

Of course — tap any question:
Most people qualify at age 65. You may also qualify earlier with certain disabilities, ESRD or ALS. We'll confirm your eligibility for free in a couple of minutes.
With Original Medicare, any provider who accepts Medicare works. With Advantage plans it depends on the network — send us your doctors' names and we'll check each plan before you enroll.
If you have creditable employer coverage you can usually delay Part B without penalty, then enroll during a Special Enrollment Period when you retire. We'll map out the timing with you.
We run your exact medication list against each plan's formulary and pharmacy network so you can see real yearly drug costs — not estimates.
Yes. You can switch during Open Enrollment (Oct 15 – Dec 7), during the Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period (Jan 1 – Mar 31), or any time you qualify for a Special Enrollment Period.
Yes — completely. You never pay us anything. Carriers compensate licensed agents at the same rate, so our recommendation is based on your needs, not our pay.
